About the Australian Japanese Model Railway Group

We are a group of model train enthusiasts in Melbourne, Australia collecting and modelling the railways of Japan.

Our modelling work is mostly in Japanese 'N scale' (1:150); our group uses modular standards based on Kato track.

Our trains include the sleekest new Shinkansens such as the E6 Super Komachi to the powerful EF510 electric locomotives, E231 commuter trains, and steam locomotives, from the mighty D51 "Degoichi's" to the tiny C56 and every other rolling stock and motive power in between.  Even street trams make an appearance in our rosters.

We meet regularly once a month in Melbourne, Australia and we also exhibit at model railway exhibitions around Victoria throughout the year.
